So if you haven't heard already, you've heard now. CVS is having a MAJOR clearance haul. There are some products that could possibly be discontinued and so to gain some kind of profit back, they're put on clearance at 50% or 75% off. This means major savings for us beauty junkies. Below are pictures of the products I got and how much I spent and saved.
So, the picture on the top is a shot of EVERYTHING I bought. I did make two trips and this is what I've accumulated so far. On the bottom, I have the receipts from those purchases. I had to black out the addresses and phone numbers to the stores I went to for security reasons. However I did highlight the total cost (before taxes) and the amount I saved. In total, I spent $70.97, BUT I saved.....are you ready for this???
$195.90!!!!
That is amazing! I got a WHOLE bunch of stuff that I've never tried before and saved that much money! I'm still shocked myself. Now, I know that I am on a No-Buy promise to myself, however, I made sure to only purchase products that I've never used before! Yes I've never used any of these products before EVER! Of course I've used these TYPES of products but not these actual ones themselves, so I am excited. Plus there are some interesting ones that I can do reviews on. Such as the Rimmel Lash Maxxx (the pink one). It has a very different brush than most mascara brushes. It looks like a comb and it claims that it will not CLUMP up your lashes, so we shall see. Plus I've been wanting to try the Physician's Formula eye shadow strips. I do not have blue eyes but the one I got is intended for blue eyes, but c'mon at $2.00, am I gonna pass that up? HECK NO! And then there's the Revlon Cream EyeShadow and believe it or not I've NEVER USED any HIP products other than their cream eyeliner which I wasn't too pleased with because it was dried out when I got it for the first time. So I'm excited to try out the HIP eyeshadows as well.
So that is all for now I am going to sign off and enjoy the rest of my weekend here in San Francisco. I'm going to use this week to test out these products and then will get back to everyone during next week (my brother's wedding is next weekend) to give my thoughts and reviews on all of these products, and if they're worth the extra money or even the sales price. We shall see....
Have a great weekend y'all! Much love from SF!!
Well there goes that no buy resolution... lol!
ReplyDeleteI went just a little bit nuts for this CVS sale too, and I knew I would just like last time! It's so much fun and so many huge bargains!
